Welcome to MilkNote (the "App"). Before using the App, please read and agree to the following terms of service (the "Terms"). Downloading, installing, or using the App constitutes your acceptance of all terms herein.
These Terms apply to the MilkNote iOS app (Bundle ID: com.milknote.app) and its companion Widget extension.
1. App Overview
MilkNote is a feeding-record tool designed for parents/guardians of infants, providing the following core features:
- Bottle feeding, breastfeeding, pumping, solid food, and diaper records
- Feeding reminders (customizable interval and quiet hours)

- Multi-channel backup (CloudKit sync, iCloud Drive file, SMTP email, local snapshots)
- Data restore and CSV export
- Home-screen Widget for quick access to recent records
2. User Eligibility
- The App is intended for adults — parents, guardians, nannies — responsible for infant care
- You confirm you are at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction
- You confirm you have the authority to act on behalf of the infant whose feeding data you record
- If you use the App on behalf of someone else (e.g., a nanny for parents), you must ensure you have appropriate authorization
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Data Accuracy
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the feeding records you enter

- Files are stored in JSON format and can be restored by the App
- Backup files may contain information such as your baby's name (if you entered it) and birthday
6.3 Restore Limitations
- The restore operation overwrites current device data
